Clinical Precautions and Monitoring

Dependence, Tolerance, and Withdrawal: Physical and psychological dependence can develop within weeks of continuous therapeutic use. Abrupt discontinuation risks severe withdrawal phenomena, including rebound anxiety, tremor, sweating, agitation, confusion, and convulsions. Gradual tapering is mandatory.
